Gomi Mountain

Gomismta is located on the northern slope of the Meskheti Range, in the Bzhuzhi River Gorge, at an altitude of 2100-2755 meters above sea level. The relief is mountainous, and the climate is moderate mountain. Winters are cold and snowy, summers are moderately cool. The average temperature in January is -5 °C, the average temperature in August is 13–18 °C. The annual amount of precipitation is 1600-1700 mm. The average annual relative humidity of the air is 75%. The duration of sunlight per year is 2000-2060 hours. Gomismta is surrounded by coniferous forests, spruce-fir forests and springs from the southwest, and alpine meadows from the northeast. Near Gomismta is Lake Chinchao, which is located 2,500 meters above sea level.
